The Irregular at Magic High
School (Japanese: 魔法科高校の劣等生, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) is a Japanese web novel
that written by Tsutomu Sato. His web novel was published from October 2008 to
March 2011 through Internet in Shosetsuka no Naro, an Internet website for
reading web novel. After reaching agreement with Dengeki Bunko，"The
Irregular at Magic High School" was published into light novel series in
July 2013. At the same year, MADHOUSE announced the adaptation of anime will be
released on April 2014.
In 2095, magic is no longer a
kind of illusory fantasy, but has been applied for nearly a century of science
and technology. In the spring of the new-born enrolment, the first high school
related to the National University of Magic, known as the "Magic High
School", ushered in a pair of siblings. The sister, Miyuki Shiba
is a perfect student with excellent grades in all field and called as
"Bloom". However, her brother Tatsuya Shiba is a
"Weed" a defective student that does not respected by them. After
entering school by two of them, a smooth daily life began to become
magnificent.

Main Character:
Tatsuya Shiba, (Japanese: 司波たつや, Shiba Tatsuya) 2095 years he enter high school together with his sister Miyuki Shiba. Because he was born in April, and his sister born in March in the next year. Since their age only a difference of 11 months, they are still arranged in the same school year. Without a doubt, Tatsuya is a good brother but also a serious person while facing things that related with his sister. Having an indifference personality, will cruelly to treat someone who hurt Miyuki. After entering high school he become not cold than before, he started to care about his friends.
Miyuki Shiba (Japanese: 司波みゆき, Shiba Miyuki), sister of Tatsuya Shiba. She has an appearance looks outstanding and a supple black hair. After entering high school she becomes popular in school because of her appearance, etiquette and magic are very perfect. She is very respecting and caring her brother, she will act like a spoiled child when she is together with Tatsuya.
Conclusion:
The Irregular at Magic High School is an interesting anime that with their scientism in magic. Most of the magic are illusory however the magic in this anime is developed from high technology skills to elaborate magic such as frozen, fire, gravity and fly. All types of the magic created through science theory and logical calculation. They unable to control their magic power without CAD (Casting Assistant Device) tools that simply launch magic and replace spells, charms of traditional magicians. The best magic battle that I think is the battle between Tatsuya's team and Masaki's Team (Masaki Ichijo, student of Third High School) in Nine Schools Competiton
This is an anime that more
prefer to scientism and logical. The family background and capability of
Tatsuya also a great point that attracted me. Thank you for reading and hope
